I wanted to share some exciting news that we’d like you to spread to your friends, families and colleagues. 

The 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Pyeongchang, the Republic of Korea begin in just 5 days.  It will be the largest sporting event in 2013 with more than 3300 participants from 120 countries around the world.  Canada will be represented by 141 athletes, coaches and mission staff who make up Special Olympics Team Canada.  The Team Canada athletes have been  training intensely over the past year to prepare for the World Games.  We invite you to cheer on Special Olympics Team Canada on by going our fantastic new Facebook application (see link below).  You can click on the map to give a shout out to specific team members or you can send a message to the entire team.

We would like to show the team how much support they have back home in Canada.  So please spread the word!
