A huge thank you to all the Special Olympians who came out to the Law Enforcement VS Oldtimers hockey game and were responsible for selling the game programs. Thanks to their help Special Olympics Ottawa raised over $530!!                                                Special mention to Todd Sams who was a part of the opening ceremonies by receiving the donation from the Oldtimers, as well as dropping the puck in the ceremonial face-off.  As to the game, our local law enforcement team put together a valiant effort and were hailed as the "toughest competition" yet by legendary referee Ron Hoggarth, but ultimately fell 11-8. Thank you to all who attended, and an extra thank you to our law enforcement officers, we should never forget the contributions of these heroic men and women.
