At the Hastings County council on June 28, 2012, athletes Jim Tooley and James Stone, along with coach Denise Kozlof were presented with gifts from the council. These athletes are memebers of the gold medal Quinte West basketball team. They were recongized for their achievements at the Special Olympics games that were held in Kingston on May 31, 2012.
